Review: I gotta admit, I was really hesitant when I picked up this conditioner at the mall due to its ingredients’ list. I couldn’t figure out half of the stuff in there at the time. And why say « shea milk » on the label when they basically just put shea butter??? But anyway, I bought it because I’m a sucker for affordable and easy-to-find conditioners.
So, when I first put it on my hair, it felt great. Nice smell, good slip, it made detangling a breeze… everything was fine until I rinsed it out. Then, my hair felt weird. Not dry, but not moisturized either. A squeaky-clean feeling to the touch, almost like my strands were smoothed out and coated with something. Let me tell you, I was not happy about it. However, since I didn't want to quit so easily (call me cheap, but I really wanted this conditioner to work), I gave it another shot a month later. Unfortunately, with the same results. Still, I always managed to counteract this "weirdness" by deep conditioning my hair afterwards. So nothing terrible, but this product only works as a rinsed out detangler for me.
Will I buy it again? I don’t think so.
What about you? Have you ever tried this conditioner? Did you like it?
